sweetford55 Posted March 18, 2006 Share Posted March 18, 2006 Can someone enlighten me as to how to identify a Mainline 55' from a Customline 55'? I think Mainlines don't have the one long strip of chrome running from front to back. How about the windshield and back glass chrome? I have seen some Mainlines with it and some without. The same goes for the Customline. Was this an option?All imput would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for a Customline 2-door, V-8 with full chrome package. junkyardjeff Posted March 19, 2006 Share Posted March 19, 2006 The mainlines did not have any side trim and the customlines had trim that went straight down the side unlike the fairlanes that had the v on the door and it went up on top of the front fenders.
