Guest imported_Boehmke Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Does anyone know what kind of car this Magneto Switch might have come from? Please see attachment. We are still looking for the correct magneto switch for the 1919 Locomobile which I have posted in the Wanted section of the forum. Thanks, Jim Boehmke, 925-447-6670
Guest GP Gleason Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Eisemann made magnetos from about 1922 to ???? I have not seen one for automobiles but mostly for small engine power plants, marine and tractor applications. That's about all I know about them
Guest imported_Boehmke Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Gaugeguy, thanks for your information. If anyone finds the correct mag-switch for our 1919 Locomobile, we'll then offer this Eisemann for anyone needing it. If none is located, we may have to adapt the Eisemann to the '19 which would be better than a big hole in the dash!
cobourgkid Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 Hello JimYou might want to check-out Pre-War Car Mag's parts for sale section at http://www.prewarcar.com/parts/search.php?pc=s&s=p Although they currently do not have any LOCO ignition switches listed they do have a couple gauges. Posted items seem to change quickly so keep checking.Stephen
Guest imported_Boehmke Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Stephan, thanks for the tip. We'll keep checking this site. Jim
