Horn on the way out....?

The horn(s) on my 89 seem to be on the fritz. Both the relay and fuse are fine. Short of putting the car up and replacing the horns themselves, anyone have any thoughts on other potential solutions. The $40 for 2 new horns is not the problems, its finding a way to get safely underneath to do the work! Thanks

The horns on the Reatta are easier to change than the oil filter. They are in front of each front tire. A jack and a jackstand should give you enough room, unless you have a really big head. I didn't check the bolt size but will bet it takes a #10 or 13 socket.
------------------
Barney Eaton Reatta technical advisor for BCA and keeper of the Reatta database.

I lived in north-central Indiana for 26 years....keep forgetting the problems.
I'll be in St Charles ILL in mid-July for the national Corvair convention, should be warm enough to tackle then, I will hand you tools.
