Guest Randy Berger Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I need to find out the numbers for the front and rear wheel cylinders for a 1940 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup truck. Thanks in advance.
Guest De Soto Frank Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Randy,I don't have any thing that lists the parts numbers, but Raybestos and Wagner have about the most complete listings of brake parts for older stuff as far as modern suppliers go...If that fails, try Roberts MOtor PARts - he has a website and specializes in Dodge trucks and flathead MoPar cars...If the truck uses step-bore wheel-cyls, they are no longer in production in any of the modern supplier's lines.
Guest Randy Berger Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Thanks Frank, I knew you'd come through.
Guest BillP Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 In the Dodge factory parts book, the component parts are listed separately with apparently no part number for the assembly. If you want all those numbers I can list them. Is yours a model TC?
Guest Randy Berger Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 BillP, I am asking for a friend, so I don't know about TC. I do appreciate your efforts, though. When I learn more I'll probably be back.
