JO BO Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Hi;I found a pair of Atwood lights with a 75 watt electric bulb in each. They have nice clear curved glass on two sides with a small red light on the third which is also the access door. The final side has a place for mounting. The total heighth is around 17 inches or so. Does anyone know what their application may have been? Auto ? Train? other? Thanks I just got them yesterday so I don't have photos yet.JO BO
Terry Bond Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Pictures would be helpful-are they square or is the body of the lamp rounded? Is their a handle on top? Sounds like they were converted to porch lights at some point-don't know of any autos that would have used a 75 W bulb. Is there a model number anywhere on them?Terry
Guest Silverghost Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Atwood was/and still is a marine lamp mfg. They are famous for their Marine Navigation lights for ships and smaller craft.I have some Atwood lamps on my boat. They may in fact build lamps other than marine units...I really don't know ???
JO BO Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 Hi;Thanks for responses. They are square with no handle on top or model numbers. They look like a square torch.I'll work on pics for you. Thanks JO BO
