mcrump1 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 My name is Mike, I live in Tucson, Az. am currently building a 55 chev. p/uI have some parts from it that I will sell and also have some parts from other cars that I need to sell but don't want to get hosed by selling them at a substantially smaller amount than they are really worth. Is this the right forum to be in?Can I post questions on a part's worth here? Or what I actually have....ie is this window from a 1947 Ford or a 1953 Kaiser...is it front or rear window...ect. ect. ect.where do I post pic's so members can look and help? or evaluate if it is something that they can use.ThanksMike
Joe_Materasso Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 hey mike - in the main index there is a subsection titled "what is it" - that's where i'd start.good luck - and happy motoring!jm
Peter J.Heizmann Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Hello, Mike..."Welcome to the AACA Forum".You certainly are on the correct forum. Please take a few moments to scroll around the various forums we offer. As Joe mentioned, there is the "What is It" topic. Also, you will see the "Buy/Sell" and many affiliated Clubs listed. At any time, feel free to post any questions of assistance as you become acclimated to this website.Have you joined the AACA? (There is an application form and instructions noted within the header on the opening page.)This forum is only a portion of what the AACA offers. Our "Antique Automobile Magazine" alone is well worth the reasonable annual dues.Regards and welcome aboard...Peter J. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
novaman Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Peter Gariepy needs to make himself known to this guy and get him join AACA and the region there in the Tuscon area.
ex98thdrill Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 If you look at the homepage of this website, there will be a National Meet coming to Tucson on April 20-22. The shows don't get any closer than that, and it would be a good opportunity to see the cars, meet the people, and see what AACA is all about.
Guest mike burgess Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 good name Mike . Welcome to the AACA forum. You'll have fun here.
mcrump1 Posted March 28, 2006 Author Posted March 28, 2006 I will make plans to be there. Thanks for the heads up!
