Guest F14CRAZY Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 You guys think there's a way to run side exiting exhausts (with mufflers) underneath a Reatta? A few days ago I saw a 90s Cutlass Supreme with some and I think it looked pretty good. Not like corvette style full length chrome pipes, but with simple rectangular exits. Sounded like the dude didn't have mufflers
manikmekanik Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Why not full-length side pipes?I think they'd look even COOOOLER than a Cutlass or Vette!BIG FUN tring to route the pipes for either, for sure!
Guest EDBSO Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 It doesn't matter how careful you are [color:\\"red\\"]Sooner or later you are going to burn your calf!!!
Guest spongebob Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 i wore out 3 sets of hooker side exhaust on my 73 vette..the last set i had anodized and then i painted them...those were sweet...
Guest F14CRAZY Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Can side pipes have like a built in muffler? I prefer quiet exhausts cuz it gets annoying on long drives
padgett Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 The aftermarket (hooker etc) 4" sidepipes for the Corvette had a mini-muffler you could slide inide. Were also available for Camaros/Firebirds with a longer sidepipe.
Guest F14CRAZY Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Padgett, you mean like this? These actually look pretty cool
padgett Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Yeah but the ones I had on my B/P vette didn't have any dummies. Would be interesting to have four pipes on each side.
Guest F14CRAZY Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I think I'd skip the multiport thing though
padgett Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Happened to see a set of the dummies (single functional pipe) on a Firebird today and snapped a picture (see att)
