Guest Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Those horizontal trim bar on the fendors make it a 1942... more rare.
Pete Phillips Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 That's not a '42 grille and not '42 hood trim in his photo. The 1947-49 Specials had the two horizontal fender mouldings (like all of the '42 Buicks had), so give the man credit for knowing what he is selling.Pete Phillips
Guest imported_JPIndusi Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 A very nice looking car and I agree this looks like a 1948 but could be a 47 or 49. There seems to be an extra red hood emblem and the wheel covers look like they are for 15 inch wheels. The series 40 cars came with 16 inch wheels.Joe, BCA 33493

Guest ZondaC12 Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 i love how right in the background of that pic theres some rice-rocket hondas. the buick makes them look like nothing. hmmph, why are they allowed at that show? i know they probably want to welcome anyone with a different than average car, but if it were my choice, no ricers!!!
