Those horizontal trim bar on the fendors make it a 1942... more rare.

That's not a '42 grille and not '42 hood trim in his photo. The 1947-49 Specials had the two horizontal fender mouldings (like all of the '42 Buicks had), so give the man credit for knowing what he is selling.

A very nice looking car and I agree this looks like a 1948 but could be a 47 or 49. There seems to be an extra red hood emblem and the wheel covers look like they are for 15 inch wheels. The series 40 cars came with 16 inch wheels.

Actually Joe, using the same impossible image enhancing technology they use on CSI, I was able to determine exactly what that red reflection on the hood really is:

i love how right in the background of that pic theres some rice-rocket hondas. the buick makes them look like nothing. hmmph, why are <span style="font-style: italic">they</span> allowed at that show? i know they probably want to welcome anyone with a different than average car, but if it were my choice, no ricers!!!
