pacbrakeman Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Please help. I need a parking lite lense for my 47 Packard clipper. It was cracked by a stone and is garbage. Good used is ok. Thanks
Steamcar Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I have some spares, I will have to look to see how they are. I have a 1947 6 cylinder Clipper.Jim Showers
pacbrakeman Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 Jim, Thanks for the response. Hope you have a good lense. Please e-mail me with status. Thanks again. Frank
Steamcar Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Frank, I have two styles. The odd one is somewhat opaque and has a raised ridge running the length of it. I have a pair of those. The other is clear with the magnifying area that intensifies the light from the bulb. I have just the one of this style. I am not a parts dealer, but one who has some parts and is willing to help out. I can take pictures of them for you to see.Jim
pacbrakeman Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 JimPictures would be great. My other lense has ribs on the inside and an area for magnification. The outside is smooth. I'm not a parts dealer either, but believe parking lenses for 46 and 47 only. Thanks frank.frisch@verizon.net
pacbrakeman Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 Hello ! I'm still looking for a good used lense for a fair price. I would consider a pair so I would have a spare. Thanks Frank
