BamaWildcat Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 My project car is getting a fender off my parts car, but the parts car is REAL chewed up around the gas filler neck. Does anyone have a rear of a big car they could cut the highlighted part out of? I don't know that I will need it yet. I will meet with my bodyman in the next two weeks to find out. My thought is it may be cheaper for him to weld a whole other piece instead of fabricating the chewed up area. I also figure it will be cheaper to replace the one bad section than to have to pay for a fender I already have and go pick it up.As always, any leads would be appreciated! Please look at the picture to see the chewed up area around the filler door.
