Kean Thompson Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Thanks to enthusiast Tony St Clair who identified this roadster body as a 1929 Dodge "Senior" model roadster. Tony provided a photo of a similar car under restoration which is identical to the one that needed ID. Thanks Tony. Does anyone have a project car to sell or even a cowl, front doors, parts. This is a nice body and I'd like to add it to a car. Would also like pics of a restored car.keant@ozemail.com.au PREVIOUS POST: Can someone please identify this roadster body? It has features which, I am sure make it unique and identifiable. Note the lower back corners and 'sweeping out' body in this area. Note the golf door and metal strips running front to back over the joint between the quarter panel and adjacent panel. It is 1928 - 1930 era and made in the US. I will atttach a photo (2 if I can)but have many more to e-mail if it helps.
1937hd45 Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Just saw a 1930 Studebaker with a sweeping rear quarter like that. What size car is it, Model A Ford size or larger?
Kean Thompson Posted February 20, 2006 Author Posted February 20, 2006 Hi,Thanks for the response. It is bigger than a Model A. From memory, it is about 5 and a half foot from front to back and almost as wide but I'll post some measurements ASAP.KLT
Terry Bond Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Looks like Desoto to me. I think about 1930.Terry
Kean Thompson Posted February 28, 2006 Author Posted February 28, 2006 You were right. Well done and thanks! Pictures of restored 1929 Dodge Senior roadsters would be appreciated. Parts would also be good. What have you?keant@ozemail.com.au
