JHO Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 1969 Olds Chassis Manual Page 6B-21 says the original cylinder is stamped with a code letter near each cylinder. My 350 is stamped with one "A", one "C", and six "B"s. Does this indicate that this engine has three different size pistons? Each piston is stamped with a matching letter. What oversize number is represented by each letter? For example does ?A? represent .10 and ?B? represent .20 and so on?
