Wildcat vinyl tops, revisited

I was able to get to the transmission shop today and shoot some pics of the vinyl topped '63 Wildcat I was referring to last weekend. For those of you interested in these Wildcats, attached is a shot of the whole car. Note the rather large patch of oil dry on the ground. Apparently this Wildcat has quite a problem.

Here's a shot from the rear. No license plate. Maybe trans work scared off the owner. Rusty quarters.

Here is my main concern. This is a shot of the front part of the vinyl top retainer, down in the rain gutter. I forgot to take a small screwdriver along to see if these things might have a chance of coming out. Probably just as well, as that might have drawn attention.

Thanks Paul for not forgetting about this. I think I like it better without the factory hold-down in the gutter. Kind of a neat color scheme on the cat, though...Don'e appear in too bad of shape, either. Steve
