Guest
Maybe the nylon teeth for the mast has 2 bad spots on it. If you wanted to take it apart and that was the trouble you can replace the mast. You can always replace the whole power antenia. Or just live with it until it breaks. You could also just leave it up by unpluging it but don't go thru any auto car washes or it will snap off.<P>Tom
Jim
I ordered a new mast last week p/n 22038195 and just last night I replaced it in my car. Everything worked great. The new mast comes with a nylon band attached to it and at the end of the band is a metal hook, that hooks onto a 2 1/2 inch round gear. This gear is then driven by a pinion gear attached to the motor. My guess is that your round plastic gear has some teeth worn off of it. I have 6 Reatta parts cars and have the gear available but I would suggest taking yours apart first and making sure that is the problem.
