Guest
I'm having a lot of problems with the headlights on my '88 reatta. When I hit the "lights on" button they either do not pop up at all or one will pop up and the other will not. To try to circumvent this problem, I would hit the lamp retract button, which would bring the lights up, and then the lights on button, but this still did not make the headlights come on. I've even tried to wind them up manually and then hit the lights on button, with no success. The car has been in and out of the garage for this problem all year. Just when I think it's fixed, it starts happening again. Can anybody please help me with this?

Barney Eaton
You have two or more problems.
If the headlights are not opening, the motors need rebuilt or replaced.
If they don't turn on it could be the headlight switch, or wiring problems.
------------------
Barney Eaton Reatta technical advisor for BCA and keeper of the Reatta database.
