Guest
My wifes 1990 Reatta's electric dash board will intermittenly go blank and then it may or may not come back on the same day and maybe not for a week. This is quite irritating as you can't even tell how much gas is left. It seems to do this mainly in the summer time. (she drives this car year around and we live in michigan)
Has anybody else experienced this problem? Does anybody have a fix?
Our auto repair shop has no idea what might be the problem. Guest
this is, in fact, very common. I as well ahve noticed that they're more prone to go on the fritz on hotter days (esp while I was in Az). Anyhow - it's usually the 7-volt power supply in the display itself - only fix is to replace the display/gage unit - check previous posts for where to get these.
~Brenda
------------------
REATTA SITE:
http://members.aol.com/gohighr/reatta.html
