Torque, 1938 special

Find a Motor's Manual that covers cars of that vintage; they are commonly listed on ebay. There should be a chart giving torques in the Buick section. Failing that, I'm sure that participants on this forum can list the torque ratings you need.

My 1953 edition of the Motor's Manual lists the following information for a 1938 Special:

Cylinder Head Torque: 65-70 Lbs. Ft.

Rod Bolt Tension: 40-45 Lbs. Ft.

Main Bolt Tension: 90-100 Lbs. Ft.
