TruBlu90
Age and bad rust problem are causing 6 of these to need replacing... (bad cracking and popping noise). Dealer wants left arm and right leg to do the job. Anyone in the Atlanta area know of a reliable guy with a lift who'd be somewhat reasonable?... or any other facts to share that would save money? Jibby
Somebody will be around, to leave info, for you. Just not tonight, most likely. I live in the North-east, so I won't be of any help.
Jim
The mounts are part number 1627359 and are still available from GM for a retail of about $ 25 each. Less if you can get a discount. With a floor or bottle jack you can easily replace them yourself. Just, one at a time, drop each corner of the cradle a little bit and replace the cushions. jonlabree
Before you attempt to remove them, soak them very well with penetrating oil. Then try to work them back and forth to losen them up.They have been known to break off up inside the nuts. It's not an easy job to remove them when they break offJON...
