Clamshell1971
After several years of trading and hunting, I have finally found an Oldsmobile Touring car to call my own.I am very excited! ;-) It is a 1917 Oldsmobile Model 37 Touring Car. I see a few listed in the OCA directory..... but that is it.I am wondering if anyone else out there owns a pre '20 Olds and would like to share some information. Is there a better bulletin board or place to find owners of similar cars?See my attached photo. Thanks,Ben Barlage859-331-3618Edgewood, KY

Steve Moskowitz
Ben,I had the brother to your car in a roadster. It is now owned by GM. I do have some literature on the car and will help you in any way I can. Join AACA as well as the Olds clubs and bring your car out. Enjoy the wonderful world of old cars and especially Oldsmobile! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />Steve MoskowitzAACA
Clamshell1971
Thanks Steve, I do want to find out all that I can about this model. I have already been in contact with Garth Goode, Nelson Barber and Arnold Hagger (all very familiar with the 1917 Models). I still have a great deal to learn, but it seems as though my car still has the original Northway Engine, Stewart Vacuum fuel pump and Johnson Carb. Even the old cork float in the carb appears to be operable... but there is an old coating of sorts on it that is flaking off (no good). Suggestions? I put more photos on the following web site for those who may be interested. Thanks,Ben BarlageEdgewood, KY859-331-36181917 Olds Page
