Willistead Classic Concours d'Elegance - Aug 28th, 2005

We are pleased to announce that Canada's largest and most prestigious Concours d'Elegance is back for it's 17th year in operation. The show date is Sunday, August 28th, 2005 and the location is Willistead Manor, Windsor, ON (right across the river from Detroit, MI). This year our feature marque is Auburn Cord Duesenberg, and we will have a special display dedicated to this class on our show field. Gates open to the public at 9:00 am and the awards ceremony begins at approximately at 3:00 pm. This event is sponsored by Dieppe Insurance Brokers, and proceeds benefit the Willistead Manor Restoration Fund.

We have had excellent support from many AACA members in the past and always welcome any new participants. There are several spaces left in our vehicle classes, so if you wish to nominate a vehicle, please contact Craig Wood at craig_wood@sympatico.ca as soon as possible before registration is closed.

We took "Best of Class" at Willistead in 2003 with our 1956 Continental Mark II convertible and I can tell you that it is a marvelous venue. My wife and I will be judging in this years event.
