J Man
I have a friend that is going to give me 2 engines. They are both out of '64 Ols 88s, what size are they?
big body supreme
my quess is almost as good as yours, with that amount of info. but it could be a 350, 403 or 455 possibly, if it looks like you could EASILY fit a 12" ruler on top of the intake between the heads it is most likely one of the later two. It shouldn't be that hard to find out though, just do your reaserch you'll find it on the net soon enough. Casting numbers are a huge help, and will make it alot easier. chances are with a motor that old, even if its only a 350, it will be a good one. Guest Dave Wyatt
An 88 would have still used a 394 in 1964. 330's went into A bodies that year. 350's and 455's came along later in 1968.
vista461
Unless it was a Jetstar 88. Then it could be a 330. I have 2 330's out of 64 Jetstar88's. Oddly they both have an engine code on the head that starts with a "U" instead of the "T". Saw a J88 on Ebay that also had a "U" code 330.Does it have 10 valve cover bolts on each valve cover and #1 heads?
