She said nobody even came to look once they discovered the miles. Too bad most don't realize how durable these cars are. This one is in nice shape, everything works, looks and drives like a 100k car. It even had the original floor mats with the plastic "anti skid" grid on the back. Original bill of sale, deal info., owners manual, etc. The guy will probable put 200K on it since it is his only car and he travels a lot. Maybe I can post a pic later on. I think you'll like it. Although, I'm thinkin' of putting a new paint job on it. <P>So, I'm new here and my Buick Reatta has 134K...no, make that 135K) I went to Atlanta almost as soon as I got the car for a nice little test drive. <P>Handles as well as it looks. The diagnostics are way off though. Guest Posted August 23, 2000 Share Posted August 23, 2000 Have had my 89 red coupe for almost 2yrs it had 108k when we bought it it now has 119k. It looks and runs great once I figured out the extended cold cranking problem, thanks to this web site. By the way it was my fuel pump relay that was the problem. I bought the car for $4,300 and I think that the car is a seemingly unknown or forgotten car by the public. The car seems like a great value for your money. Currently it has 117k as it is now considered my sister's car. she is a 7/6/84 driver, by far the youngest so far. she wants to trade me for my 92' Plymouth Laser Turbo. My car has 125K miles, and I've had no major problems. The car runs and behaves great. Guest Posted September 21, 2000 Share Posted September 21, 2000 My Black '89 has 51k miles; when I bought it in '97 it had 47k on it.<BR>I've had no problems other than the battery dying from sitting for over 2 weeks at a time but that problem was resolved a couple years ago when I bought a nifty device that recharges the battery when it starts to go down.<BR>I've also had to replace a few bulbs here and there. Kept garaged. Usually driven more than 10 miles per outing. People always ask me about my "new car" since Reattas are seen so infrequently. Plan to keep it.
