Guest Brad Gales Posted August 15, 2000 Share Posted August 15, 2000 I have a similar problem with my 88. It looks like CRT rebuild/exchange ($300 approx cost) may be the answer. There are other posts on this site that detail a CA and TX repair facility. The CA facility quoted me a price of $286 plus shipping. I also located one in Richmond, VA called "Model Electronics" (tel # 804-798-2184). When I called they claimed to be able to repair the unit in 48 hours at a cost of $325. Also, FYI, I replaced the information control module ($85), but that did not cure the problem, so I'm back to considering the rebuild option. Guest Posted August 18, 2000 Share Posted August 18, 2000 I just called AER in CA for a re-build on my CRT and they asked me the part # before I sent it - I haven't taken it out yet- does anyone know what the Part # is?
