Jim Posted August 16, 2000 Share Posted August 16, 2000 I'm a little surprised at the 2 responses to the starting price of the speaker grills. Yes, they can be recovered, but these are NEW originals. One was discontinued by GM on 11/98 and the other previous to that date. New the were about $ 35 each so you are getting 2 for slightly more than the new price. My reason for surprise is some people are praising Speedway Auto in Phoenix, the company that is getting $1200 for USED $350 vent windows and $175 for USED $50 door handles. I have a really nice red driver's side handle I'll sell for $25 plus shipping.<P>As far as the speaker is concerned, it is just a piece of plastic that probably cost $1.50 to make. I guess my concern is not so much that you folks lucky enough to have one are selling them, but that Buick would have put such a miserable, cheap, chinzy, lousy, 2 bit piece of plastic in a very premium priced car in a place that is guaranteed to get damaged.
