Guest Posted August 10, 2000 Share Posted August 10, 2000 My 1990 Reatta, just now has the problem of having the "service engine soon" light come on. It comes on and off, for no apparent reason. Also, the same time that started to happen, the car stopped locking when you put it from park to drive. And it stopped unlocking when you put it back into park. It sounds like the transmission shift linkage switch is dead or misadjusted.
