Cigarette Lighter Fuse?

Recommended Posts

I have a '90 Coupe, and the Cigarette Lighter hasn't worked since 1990 - does anyone know if the lighter has it's own fuse...the manual does not list which function goes to which fuse. If so, what fuse needs to be replaced?

Check your fuses for one that is blown. A nickle fell into my cigarette lighter and blew the fuse. I have an 88, but most likely it is the same.

Does anyone know the answer for the 90/91? I had the same problem (a dime fell in, now it doesn't work). I did pull all the smaller fuses and all seemed fine. The larger ones that look like a 1x1-inch black box..I don't know how to determine if those are blown.

1990 Service Manual says it is Fuse #4 and it is supposed to be 20 amp.
------------------
1972 GS 455 4-speed
1990 Reatta convertible
1990 Regal GS
