I like a custom as much as the next guy, but it's like he tried to jam everything cool thing he ever saw at a car show into one vehicle. Talk about lack of single unifying theme. Unless the theme was ugly.

Actually, I thought it looked pretty good and was way cheaper than rechrome, which was the major consideration, as I recall. i painted the grill on my 52 as it was so pitted the cost of restoration would be 3X what i paid for the car. i tried to match the color of the roof and it seems to look ok. good enough till i can get my hands on a good chrome one
