Guest BigKev
Ready to cringe?http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...36&rd=1I like a custom as much as the next guy, but it's like he tried to jam everything cool thing he ever saw at a car show into one vehicle. Talk about lack of single unifying theme. Unless the theme was ugly.
Guest imported_Packards1
Ugly to the bone.
Guest imported_Speedster
Hey, I've seen a Lot Worse, but Not done to a Packard. In Australia the Main objective is to have something Completely Different than anyone else, and he certainly accomplished that. (So they will be able to tell who's coming from 5 kilometers away, across the Outback)
Mr.Pushbutton
Gawd, I hate those street rods with painted bumpers. A pox on the cheap-ass stude-rodder who invented that. Chrome "grounds" a car"s appearance.

Actually, I thought it looked pretty good and was way cheaper than rechrome, which was the major consideration, as I recall. Sometimes ya do what ya gotta do.
55PackardGuy
I think the portholes are kind of the final insult. I like Buicks, but not Packards masquerading around as Buicks. It must be that whole "Mad Max" car thing down there, eh?
52deluxe
i painted the grill on my 52 as it was so pitted the cost of restoration would be 3X what i paid for the car. i tried to match the color of the roof and it seems to look ok. good enough till i can get my hands on a good chrome onetom
Twitch
Think of how realtively easy it would be to reverse engineer it into a standard car though. Bringing back a rusted out piece of junk that's set for 60 years in the weather would be much nastier.

michel88
What he did to that Packard is equivalent to improving the Mona Lisa by adding a magic marker mustache.Woody Michel
