Hey, I've seen a Lot Worse, but Not done to a Packard. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

In Australia the Main objective is to have something Completely Different than anyone else, and he certainly accomplished that. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> (So they will be able to tell who's coming from 5 kilometers away, across the Outback) <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

<img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> I think a regular poster on this DF has a painted front bumper on his 1951-54 (don't remember the year). Actually, I thought it looked pretty good and was way cheaper than rechrome, which was the major consideration, as I recall. Sometimes ya do what ya gotta do. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

i painted the grill on my 52 as it was so pitted the cost of restoration would be 3X what i paid for the car. i tried to match the color of the roof and it seems to look ok. good enough till i can get my hands on a good chrome one
