jimustanguitar
I was parusing autozone.com and found a list of factory recalls for my car. Is the dealer still obligated to repair these, or would I be paying for them to do these procedures? Is there a registry of which vehicles went back for the recalls by VIN #, because I am not the origianl owner and don't know what has and has not been done. Thanks for any help, sorry to keep bugging you guys about this, I just for the first time in my life have a car that is worth me taking care of and want to know the ins and outs of this specific one. Have a nice day.
padgett
If the recall was safety replated I believe there is no time limit (had my e-brake system replaced on an '86 Fiero in 1999). If it is other (e.g. comfort and convienience) then there is usually a time limit.Dealer can take your VIN and tell you what is still applicable. Guest MauiWowee
HOLY COW! There are pages on the '91, but none look safety related. It does appear to be a potentially rich source of care/repair information. Any one cozy enough with a dealer to have acess to these bulletins?
