Centurion
I briefly glanced at the current issue of "Hemming's Muscle Machines" at the supermarket, and noted the article covering our own Mr. Riviera's '65 Riviera Gran Sport. I hoped I could locate a photo on the Hemming's website, but was unsuccessful. Nonetheless, a photo of Mr. Riviera's (Dick Sweeney's) stunning '65 Riviera GS was found in the BCA's member gallery.Dick, I hope you'll tell us the story behind the article covering your car. Better yet, I hope you'll prepare an item for our "Me and My Buick" forum.Dick's car appears to be finished in beautiful "Verde Green", which ranks -- in my opinion -- right alongside "Midnight Aqua" as the best '65 color. These colors are seldom seen, but perfect for one of these fine Rivieras. This Riviera is a great example of Buick's "class" during the mid-1960's era. Nick_S
Was that car at the Plano national meet? I'll get a 65 someday as it has to be one of the best looking Riviera models made.
