Guest
I'm trying to identify the set of Buick hubcaps in this picture: http://www.chip.com/buick/hubcaps.html.
Does anyone the correct year and/or model for these?
Thanks.
Tony,
Sorry about that link. Infopop stuck the period at the end of the sentence onto the end of the link.
[ 07-13-2002: Message edited by: Konga Man ]

66400
If they are 15" they are standard for '66 LeSabre. With a change of center plastic emblem they are the standard offering on '66 Wildcat and '66 Riviera. If its a 14' it looks like the '66 Special. Guest Skyking
They look like 1965 LeSabre
Guest Shaffer
Now the link obviously works. I agree. I think they look like 1965-1966 LeSabre hubcaps. I know the 1967 and newer was different.
rocketraider
I thought 65-66 B-car too, but they could possibly be 77-79. I'm basing that on the width of the center trim between the plastic and the turbine fins. I guess we need to look for the deerheads and crosses in the shields. Don't think those were used in 70s. If they're 14" they're definitely mid 60s.
Am I right that 1960 was first year for the tri-shield?
palbuick
I have one just like it a home , identified as 1963 LeSabre.
JimSchilf / palbuick@aol.com
Centurion
I'm voting with Rocketraider on this one. I say 1978-79 LeSabre.
Philippe Racicot
I agree with Centurion, these are from a late seventies Le Sabre. It's true that they are a bit similar to the 63 Le Sabre hubcaps.
Guest
'60 was the first year for the red white and blue tri-shield.
