A few may remember the 1978 Caprice a while back with 8,000 actual miles. Most recently there was another 1977 Caprice with only 293 miles. Repeat - 2 9 3 miles. It was on e-bay as well. Do not know what the bid was to on it. Now, there is yet another 1977 Caprice 2dr with 14,000 miles. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1840702125
I cannot believe all of these late 70s Caprice's with low miles. It would be nice to see more early 70s cars with these low miles.
Also, here isa link to a 1975 Chevrolet Blazer with the woodgrain option whic h is supposed to be very rare. It is supposed to have 12,000 actual miles. Bid starting at $20,000 and it is not even equipped with A/C or tilt wheel. Also, it looks like it has more miles than that, but cant really tell by the photos posted. I have seen cars in better shape with 12K, but it is still a very nice truck and a rare find at any rate. Paint on the valve covers looks chipped and someone added aftermarket accessories, but the other owner may have made the scratches in the engine compartment. Here is the link to that truck: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1840826053

A long-time Buick Club friend of mine has two 1972 Buick Electra 225 Limiteds. One has 11,000 original miles and the other has 18,000 original miles. He also owns a 1972 Centurion with about 22,000 original miles.
The same individual is selling his 1966 Wildcat with only 5,000 original miles.

There is a 1976 LeSabre 4-dr. sedan on Ebay right now with 7000 miles on it. The car is immaculate, but the paint color takes some getting used to, in my opinion. I'm not smart enough to know how to do a link to the Ebay site, but it is listed in the Buicks for sale, item # 1842216780.
Pete Phillips
BCA #7338
Ector, TX

That color kills that 76 LeSabre, the best car was the 77 Caprice w/8000 miles. I kick myself for not bidding on it then

I am baffled by the color on that '76 LeSabre. I am not an expert on that year, but I would question whether that is a standard B and C-Body color. Typically, however, colors on A-Body and, perhaps, X-Body cars and Rivieras could be ordered at extra cost on the B and C-Body cars. My hunch is that this is a special order car with an A-Body, H-Body, or X-Body color. Keep in mind the possibility that the scan does not accurately represent the color. I agree that the color does not look very attractive in the photos.

That color is correct for 1976 Buicks. It was used on other GM's that year too. I think it's called 'Concord Green'. All the colors that year had historical sounding names due to the bicentennial. My local Buick dealer in Torrance, Ca used to order Electra coupes in that color. They also came with white heavily padded landau roofs, white leather interiors, and Buick chrome wheels. I wonder if that's what Buick had in mind for their Electra's?

I may be the exception but I like the color. I especially like it on the electra 2 dr as described on a previous post (white vinyl top with white leather interior with road wheels)
