kilkm
A fellow showed me a 1953 Super Riviera he has the other day. This car is truely a #1 restoration, beautiful 2 tone paint, wire wheels, beautiful interior and the engine and engine bay look like they just rolled off the assembly line. The car has won many trophies. The owner told me he is tired of the car show circuit and ready to sell the car. He said I could drive it home for $15K. Looks well worth the price to me but I have no Idea what these cars are worth. Does that sound like a reasonable price or is that a little high? Guest my3buicks
sold mine (pic attached) 4 years ago for more than that - Old Cars Price Guide lists a # 3 @ $12,400, # 2 @ $21,700 , # 1 @ $31,000 few cars are # 1 cars (figure if they are BCA, AACA Sr or Grand National Sr cars they are in the ballpark) - You sure could never do one for anywhere near $15 K
Guest my3buicks
Is that the Red one with the Black Top?
Bill Stoneberg
If you ever wanted one, that would be the one to buy. You can spend that much money just doing the chrome and pot metal. Its always cheaper to buy somebodies car that they are tired of then to put one together yourself. kilkm
No, it's a metal flake burgandy with a cream colored top, really, really pretty. Thanks for the input.
