Maxwell P. Stone
I now have my project car taken apart and find the reason for the front wheel leaning ike a newborn colt trying to stand - thought it was those !@#$% balljoints, but find the crossmember had broken where the lower A-frame attaches to the rear half and was "jury-rigged" by bolting a piece of steel between the bkn part and the A-frame attachment. The shock towers are also cracked -- The purpose of this story is to tell those with 57 Buicks to check their front ends for cracks before you end up in the ditch - welding now would avert "jury-rigging like I am going to have to do (or fix). tks Max
