Maxwell P. Stone
Have checked with Steele and they don't carry these gaskets - does anyone know who makes replacements? It's a case of the screen door in a submarine, really need to replace the right side gasket, it's showing light thru the cracks. Thanks for any help. radionut98
Probably best bet is to replace with single
glass, I think(?) they are interchangable and that way you can use the new rubber from
steele. You may try "CARS" they may have it
also. Good Luck. Loren
Bill Stoneberg
Karr Rubber out in California will make a set of gaskets from a set that you have.
I will have this done for some irreplacable gaskets on my woodie.
It costs about 500 bucks to get them made but then you have the mold and can sell them to others.
Do a search for Karr rubber on the web and you can find their number. Guest
try Fusick - same gasket on '57 Olds. Temporary fix is to use silicon sealant
Guest Mr. Solutions
Fusick - Who are they. How about a phone number / address / web site...
rocketraider
www.fusick.com. They're about the largest Olds supplier around.
It's surprising that Steele doesn't have the 3-piece window gaskets.
