1950 Wheel Pinstripes

Has anyone repainted the pinstripes on the wheels of a 50 Buick Special? There are three stripes. Any ideas on how to go about it? Thanks<P>James Conkright<BR>1950 46-S

James,<BR>I have painted the stripes on my 47 by jacking the wheel up in the air and spinning it. While it was spinning, I applied a small striping brush.<BR>Don't forget one stripe is thicker then the others.

Tom,<BR>I have used that little roller tool too, it is a great help. I have never used them on wheels though, never had thought of it so thanks for the idea.<BR>BTW, when a mistake is made on a post, you can go back and edit it by clicking on the icon that looks like a sheet of paper with a pencil on the far right.<BR>But only you can edit your own posts (like I did on this one because I cant spell either.)<p>[ 06-19-2002: Message edited by: Bill Stoneberg ]
