Dick Trenk
Found in a London shop 30 years ago. Believed to have been from India. This has been identified as a "brass master" from which the maker would then make a series of copies. It is a very good copy of this exact make and model and the die cast floor bottom has the words "1931 Cadillac V-16" plus the makers logo which has never been identified by several miniatures experts at various shows. The car has the top "down" and is therefore and open car.About 6.5 inches long. Brass body with whitemetal lower frame and trim parts. Has dual side mounts and rear luggage rack like the original. Not a real detailed model but as Dave Sinclair (Sinclair's miniatures) said, it is possibly the only one extant because he and others have never seen this model in the past. Photos emailed. Offers accepted. dicktrenk@aol.com (St Pete FL)
