Guest Posted June 8, 2002 Share Posted June 8, 2002 The rear bumper brackets for a 1970 Skylark/GS have a different part # than the 1971-2 brackets. The part #'s for the 71-2 brackets are the same for both years. I do not think they will interchange and allow you to attach a 1972 bumper to 1970 brackets. However, you can probably put a 1970 bumper and brackets on a 1972 frame and vice-versa. I believe the tail light lenses and housings were different all 3 years.
