Zephyr coupe owners beware!

A friend of mine who has a nice authentic older restoration Zephyr coupe was approached by a man from Indiana wanting to buy his car. While it was not for sale, he allowed the man to come and look at it. The man then offered my friend $32000 for it. As the car was not for sale, my friend turned down the offer. The guy from Indiana then said if he had been able to buy the car, he would have chopped the top & made a street rod out of it. Remember, this is a very nice authentic 90 point car we're talking about here. The moral of the story is you Zephyr guys better be careful who you sell your cars to or they'll all become hot rods someday.
