RSmith
Excuse me if this has been answered here before, but I was looking at some old photos of our family's 1970 Electra 225 Limited today and was curious of the origin of the "225" name. Did it mean anything in particular? I noticed on the specs of our old car that the total length was 225". Is that it, or was it something else? Just curious! Guest Tom
The name originated with the 59 Electra 225 and referred to it's length that year.
