kilkm Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 The speedometer in my 62 Electa broke recently and I've been able to find a nice replacement off ebay for a decent price. Anyone ever tear one of these out of the dash before? Just wondering if anyone had any advice or tips before I start, hope it's not too complicated! jerryacheson Posted December 3, 2004 Share Posted December 3, 2004 Yes; there are screws up from the bottom along the front of your padded dash. Take those out and your padded dash will pull right out. Once gone, you have easy access to see what you need to remove to get the dash assembly out.
