Guest
I was wonding if a 1948 Buick Super thats been left in a barn for about 20years but the straight 8 runs perfect without smoking and needing some body work and a new interior was worth paying $2000? Also would any nailhead v8's bolt up or another buick v8? Thanks
Daniel
Guest
Yes, it is probably worth $2000 if the body is good and rust-free, without dents. But, in my humble opinion, it sure won't be worth $2000 if you put a modern V-8 in it. Why destroy or get rid of the best part of the car--a good running straight 8?
Pete Phillips
BCA #7338
Ector, Texas
Guest
ohh i'm planning on keeping the straight 8 in it and maybe build it up a little to be a great cruising car. i was just wonding if a v8 would bolt up if after the straight 8 is dead and past being rebuilt then put a 364ci buick v8 in there. Just wondering...thanks for the reply.
Daniel
