Something Special in the Mail Today!!

Recommended Posts

I think its a great shirt and I wear mine with pride. When I took over as the editor of the HORN in 2000, the outgoing editor (who had been editor for 28 years) gave me one as a congratulations gift. The club members always love it when I wear it.

It is special! I've been an editor (web for 3 years/print for 1) and this is the first time I've seen one of these shirts. So how does one go about getting one? They aren't in the on-line merchandise selection. Will I have to wait til Philly to get one?

Wayne is right. We have these in most adult sizes and you can purchase them by calling 1-717-534-1910. In the beginning of the year, we usually announce to the new editors of the shirt being available. As we expand the website we will have these online.

Thanks for the reply Wayne. I'm with the Tallahassee Region. We have our website at Tallahassee Region AACA . I'm also the editor of the Tallahassee Chassee newsletter. I've been sending it to the usual group but it can be downloaded or viewed in Adobe Acrobat format straight from the site. Sorry to take so long to reply but it is that time of year! I'm ordering right away. Season's Greeting to you and yours and to all the rest of the AACA Editors.

Vern and I picked up shirts a couple of years ago, but I sure wish it was available in something other than a t-shirt. If I was wearing mine today, it would be hidden under layers of clothes given today's temperature! Any chance the powers that be might offer an alternaative for the editors in a button down shirt of some kind? Pretty please?

The "powers to be" would be happy to if there was a demand! Hey, I thought you folks up in the "North" were tough! Oh, I forgot, it was the Bears that did not wear shirtsleeves, not the Packers. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Seriously, we would be happy to place an order if there was enough presold. We probably could get this done on sweatshirts easily for small orders.

We will bring some t-shirts to Philly.

I, like Jan & Vern, got mine several years ago. Being in LA (Lower Alabama), I got to wear mine almost year 'round. It's practically threadbear, only a few wearings short of becoming garage material. Go, Steve! Get us a nice selection. Patt

Well, if you're serious about seeing if you can get an order together, I'll give you some size preferences.

If we're talking sweatshirts, then Vern and I would both take larges.

If you're talking buttondown (men's) shirts, then we'd take a large and a medium. If a lady's buttondown is available, then I'd have to move up to a large.

By the way, the Wisconsin Region has set up a company store with the local EmbroidMe franchise. Our members can order online, via phone or fax, and in person. All we had to do was pay for digitizing our logo, select the items we want to offer for sale (and in what colors), and then tell our members. Our minimum order is one (1)! And the prices are really reasonable, considering we added a small donation to the club onto all of the individual items. I'll be adding a link to our website (http://www.aaca.org/wisconsin) before the end of the year. Feel free to take a look. One of your regions (or National) may be interested in a similar arrangement. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
