Guest Greg Ross
Finally got a chance to trial fit a 15" stock Reatta rim over the new 12" Brakes-No Go, not even close. The cross section of the stock wheel provides at least a 1/2" of interference with the caliper.Sorry EBDSO, not the info you were hoping for, but Oh Well....As a side bar, I put new rotors and pads on the rear at the same time as the front modification was made. After 2 months/ I'm guessing 4000 miles you can still see the cross hatch machining marks on the rear rotors-they're obviously not working too hard with all the drag up front(ceramic pads BTW) The rears are DuraStop pads, and guess what, my rattle is back! Guest imported_Flash
That dog-gone rattle!!! Some cars never get it, but those that do, can't seem to ever get rid of it for good. Every break job fixes it......for awhile, but it always returns. Hmmmmmmm, if the rears don't do that much anyway.......
padgett
Sometime I'd like to take a long look at one that rattles. Almost wonder if that screwy rear brake circuit the TEVES uses might have an effect (the pedal never affects, is pure servo. Lose boost and you have no rear brakes.
