26 BC Posted August 27, 2004 Share Posted August 27, 2004 Hello all: I am new at this so be patient, I have aquired what I think are 2 29 chevrolet 1 ton trucks.The data plates are gone, and I need to know where the frame numbers are.They seem to be 29's , 6 cyl engines 13 springs on the rear, haven't measured the wheel base yet. So if some knows where the numbers are on the frame for the 1 ton and 1 1/2 ton I would appreciate it.Have the manuals ordered but it takes awhile for things to reach Fairbanks. Aanderson44 Posted September 1, 2004 Share Posted September 1, 2004 Chances are, the frame number was stamped on the upper flange of the frame rails, on the left hand side, either underneath the flange of the front fender or just underneath the forward part of the cab.Art Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
