Replacement Antenna - One More Time

Guess I'm still confused (easy to do). Is there a good/easy to install and reliable after market power antenna out there for a 90? I don't need one now....just wondering.

Before I learned of replacement parts, think Barney sells, I replaced one years ago.(after market)

Had to cut and splice as the harness didn't match. Worked O.K. but not exactly like (configuration) at fender and seems(as I remember) I has to rework the mounting inside fender(ant. base).

Go w/ the repair parts if motor runs, just does not raise and lower or chatters.

Does anyone know of a through the glass or one that would adhere to the inside of the glass and run across it, like at the top of the back window and eliminate the original antenna and hole completely?

OK, I disconnected mine because the motor kept running and did not extend or lower, how would I go about fixing it as you say?
