For those of you who are not members of the Lincoln Zephyr Owner's Club, the latest issue of the club magazine "The way of the Zephyr" (TWOTZ for short) has a short piece reporting the death of Barbara Cole, Dave Cole's wife of over 51 years. Dave has been the editor of TWOTZ for many years and has done a superb job of providing interesting articles and historical information about Lincoln Zephyrs.

Dave and Barbara have been personal friends of ours for over 40 years and Dave is one of the finest gentlemen I've ever known. I talked with Dave today and he's doing well. Barbara's death was caused by chemotherapy, administered in hopes of improving her cancer survival chances from 50/50 to maybe 60/40. Dave is thankful that Barbara wasn't subjected to a long and painful death. Please remember Dave in your prayers.
