AceCollins
Was on my way to car a show today when I came to quit stop. A new load of gas was evidently dirty. Car would not start at all for several minutes, then would start and run for only three seconds and die. Same thing several minutes later. Got it home, same thing two more times. Will start finding the problem early next week. Hate loosing the day. It was beautiful weather to cruise. Had the very same thing happen to a 65 Mustang about four years ago.Ace
CBoz
Ace -You might consider putting in an in-line fuel filter before the fuel pump. You can get one down at your local Autozone that is see-through and can be easily removed for cleaning, etc.AND you might stop patronizing that particular gas station. Lemme guess -- did the gas pump REALLY slow? Usually a sign that the station hasn't bothered to clean its own filters.
AceCollins
Cecil,I am going to have to add the fuel filter. I did that to both the Mustang and Ranchero when we finished the engine work, just slipped my mind on the LZ.Ace
