Thanks for the reply Don. I was given Bob's name and number by a friend who recomended him ,but I have gotten his answering machine 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I left a message and my number and haven't heard from him yet.

I guess I need to keep trying.

Cleon ~ It is a really simple job which can be done by someone with reasonable hand skills. I recently relined the cone on a 1914 Buick clutch.

Parts needed:

3/16" thick leather or other thickness if original was different.

Copper harness rivets.

Neetsfoot oil for soaking the leather.

A little patience

It is helpful if you have the old lining to use for a pattern. Cut the new leather about 1" longer [but no wider] and trim to fit as you reach the end of the circle.

Of course being in Wyoming makes the leather and rivetts not too hard to come
