Guest imported_V12Bill Posted April 28, 2004 Share Posted April 28, 2004 Willie, The 48 Lincoln (all) has Lincoln in block letters on the side of the battery that faces the engine. I have bought mine from Newcastle Battery and have had satisfactory service from three of them for my two cars.American Battery makes a replica also, but the width of the battery is about 3/8 of an inch more narrow and it shows with the retainer in place.
