For anyone owning a factory Stage1, an internet registry has been created. You can check it out HERE. The intention of this registry is to document existing Stage1 cars, and to compare options and colors. The registry is contained in Excel, which provides some functionality sorting, filtering, and summing. For those without Excel, an HTML text version is also available.
Documentation can be...

Early 1970 (VIN before 193,xxx), 1972, 1973, and 1974 - The Sloan Museum has your documentation - contact them at (810) 237-3450 or at their Website. Late 1970 cars (VIN after 193,xxx) can be authenticated through Wayne Roberts at 248-879-2113. As most are aware, 1972, 1973, and 1974 VINs depict engine options and the VIN alone is acceptable. The Sloan information, however, is preferred because it gives the most complete information with regard to option codes.
1969 & 1971 - No documentation is available from a 'third party', so the following documents are OK - window stickers, Protect-O-Plate, build sheet, import sheet, Body Production Order, Glove Box option card. If you have none of these, but you attest to either the 'matching VIN' engine code (ending in 'S') or the transmission code ('BB' in 1969 and 1971, or 'OW' in 1971 only), I will still add your GS. Unless someone else knows your car is not legitimate it will remain in the registry.
If you have an authenticated Stage1 car, please send me the following information -

Owner Name
E-mail address
Webpage
VIN
COWL Information - Build Date, Color (upper/lower), TRIM Code, Fisher Body Number. Even if your GS is a non original color, you added options, or contains a different interior, I request you send me only the original information, as depicted on the cowl tag.
Source of documentation
Option codes
For Example, if I was registering my GS...

Owner Name: Marc Conigliari
Email: mconigliari@comcast.net
Website: members.home.net/mconigliari/main.htm
VIN: 446670H192488
Built 11D
Color 48B
Trim 158
Fisher Body 122152
Option codes - A1, B3, CE, DC, F4, I6, L1, O5, U5, *6
Authenticated through Sloan
Some things to point out -

We are still trying to obtain all dealer codes/dealer names. For those who have the 5 digit dealer code, please include the dealer name/address so we can continue to build the most complete Buick dealer information database
The website will definitely be moving in the near future - please see this GSCA Link for details. I am still awaiting the new address. It will be posted here once Comcast sends it to me.
I would probably be able to update this registry once a week, so please be patient if you send me any information.
No guarantee is made for any information contained in the registry
Tell your friends!!!
For those with Excel knowledge, I would like to add that it would be greatly appreciated that you just send me an Excel file in the same format as the registry with your information already filled in. A couple people already did this for me (thanks Glen and Dave!!!) and it saves a good deal of time.
Thanks for your time!
